The UK Barista Championship, organised by the UK Chapter of the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe is the leading competition that provides top baristi with an opportunity to show their skills and demonstrate their innovation and flair with their signature coffees.

Lincoln & York is delighted to be co-sponsoring the event for three years from 2009.

Over the last 17 years since its foundation, Lincoln & York has become one of the leading independent coffee roasters in the country. By combining an awareness and understanding of top coffee producers with what UK retail and foodservice coffee users actually need, we have been able to offer excellent coffee products with great support and advice.

However Lincoln & York also recognise that great coffee can be ruined if the barista’s skills are lacking.

We are therefore keen to do whatever we can to encourage baristi to work to achieve advanced skills and qualification in order to produce the best quality coffee possible.

It is therefore entirely appropriate that we are announcing our gold sponsorship of the UK Barista Championship for three years from 2009.
