LINCOLN & YORK AT UK BARISTA CHAMPIONSHIPS REGIONAL HEATS

Following the announcement in November 2008 that Lincoln & York was a gold co-sponsor of the UK Barista Championship in 2009, we have been busy supporting seven regional heats throughout UK.

The search for the UK Barista Champion 2009 starts with seven regional heats at Hillsborough (NI), Edinburgh University, Cardiff, Exeter, Birmingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Lewes (Sussex).

The semi-finals and the final will take place at ScotHot from 2nd March to 4th March 2009.

Lincoln & York’s senior barista trainer Steve Goode is expected to be actively involved in the regional heats providing support as required in managing the events and ensuring that they run smoothly.

"I am looking forward to being involved in the regional heats of the UK Barista Championship, and seeing how the best baristi in the country are able to create great coffee." said Steve Goode.
